July, 06, 2016. Falcon Heights, Minnesota. Officer Jeronimo Yanez pulls over a vehicle because he suspects that the occupants may have been involved in a robbery. Inside the vehicle are Philando Castile, his girlfriend Diamond Reynolds, and her four year-old daughter. The stop becomes tense after the driver, Castile, declares that he has a weapon. Despite his efforts to assure the officer that he isn't pulling out the weapon, the situation will escalate until Yanez fires seven shots at Castile; killing him. Why did this happen?
